This is a drawing of Delibird, a character from the Pokémon video game franchise. I thought of this because Delibird keeps food and items in it's sack like tail and delivers them to people. Plus it's holiday time and this character is obviously based on a penguin and Santa Claus.
Santa Cruz Weekly in California featured my Super Meat Boy drawing on the front cover of their news paper. It's the cover story image for this article. I expected this to be some kind of bullshit, until they said they would pay me. Not the biggest newspaper out there, but I think it's pretty awesome.
I'm participating in the Sketchbook Project Tour 2011. Just got some time to scan some images, I currently have about 38 pages filled and will post some more up later on.

This drawing is based on the video game "Super Meat Boy", a very challenging and fun platforming game. This is Meat Boy and Brownie racing each other in the final level of the salt factory.
Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea of The Bloody Beetroots playing Warp 1977.
I went to The Guvernment in Toronto on Sunday Oct. 17 to see The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77. It was amazing! They had a full band instead of just turntables, so they played a lot of punk.
The only bad thing about the show was that it was all ages, so the venue was kicking people out by midnight. Bloody Beetroots only played for about an hour! I hate that Guvernment gets all the great bands, such a bad venue for them.
Watch for more photos on my DeviantART account too. Bob Rifo of The Bloody Beetroots playing guitar on the speaker right in front of my face!!
I have some more photos that I may edit and post up later on.
I had this idea in my head for about a month now, finally got some time to sit around and just draw.. Same concept as my previous Pokémon illustration, more realistic style. This time it's Oddish, drawn more like an actual Mandrake from witch it's design is based.
A project for Storyboarding class. The goal was to create a comic based on an egg and create a storyboard from it. Then take the storyboard and make it into an animatic. My idea reminded me of the first Alien movie.
This is some fan art I did of Chie Satonaka, a character in the video game Persona 4. Did the sketch in my 2011 Sketchbook Project Tour sketchbook, I'll post the finished book here at a later date.. Sketch is here.
A collection of characters that I have, or am in the process of creating. Drawn for the Design a Character topic shape challenge. The shape and my process are below Drawn for the Design a Character topic Galin Modric, a name challenge.

First thing I thought of was a double helix, for DNA. Then I decided to draw the Pokémon video game character that has a reference to Deoxyribonucleic acid in it's name, as well as the way it's arms are, Deoxys. I just coloured in a pencil sketch of the character.
I went to Toronto to see Deadmau5, Jesse F. Keeler and Benny Benassi perform at The Guvernment and Kool Haus. This was the highest quality photo I took of Deadmau5's set that night. What a fantastic show, more pictures are on my Facebook account at the moment, but more will be soon elsewhere. Deadmau5's cube had thousands of led lights in them, they changed and flowed with each song. His mask also had a lot of led lights.
Kool Haus was packed for Deadmau5's show, could not move, luckily I was near the front. Deadmau5 finished at around 3:30 am, so I went to The Guvernment to catch the rest of JFK's set. He is amazing, I loved seeing him in November last year! Left Toronto at 5:30 am, danced for 9 hours straight killed my legs and my body..
I drew Joel Zimmerman, a.k.a. Deadmau5, a music producer. His skin is removed to reveal a skull. I also made an outline of his mouse head mask that he wears. I'm going to go see Deadmau5 on June 30/July 1, clearly I'm really excited.
I just watched A Clockwork Orange today for the first time, and the main character, Alex, is fearless throughout the movie. That is until he gets his treatment, but he was brave enough to step up for this test, and he became fearless once again later on. He openly commits several crimes such as assault, rape and break and entering, and doesn't fear the consequences.
I like his stare at the start of the film, so I recreated this look as a vector in a different style.
This is available in my store as a print, Mobile phone skin/case and more!
On the outside this is just a variation of Kakuna, from the Pokémon video game franchise, but this topic got me really depressed. Definitely thought too much about shit, listening to Nine Inch Nails's first album didn't help either. Made me think of being trapped, the drawing is all sketchy and that is supposed to be blood coming out of the thorax area..
This illustration is based off some lyrics of some Nine Inch Nails songs, "Ringfinger" and "Twist". "Twist" was the early version of "Ringfinger" so they do have some similar lyrics.
I thought of ahead while listening to the song "Twist", where it says "go ahead and cut me". This lead to me listening to "Ringfinger" and coming up with this illustration. Both songs contain the lyric "working my hands until they bleed", while "Ringfinger" contains the lyrics "ringfinger"and "sever flesh and bone". I think with these select portions of the songs you can see how I came up with this illustration.

This was finished about an hour before class was finished on the final day. The week was rough, I'd say we spent at least 50 hours working in Flash this week. Once again, our first time doing an animation like this, definitely learned a lot. Flash has quite a few annoying limitations, plus it crashes after you do something minimal like scrolling, or after you do something very hard and important..
Music and Sound effects were fun to do, we made and recorded our own sounds, plus looked up some free samples.
Music credits: Glomag - "The Ecstasy of Gold" Animal Style - "Cyboshellfish" Linde - "Galileon"
It was a great experience, very happy with the result and we are planning to do more in the future.
A final project in my Illustration class, the goal was to create an object that can be won and render it in ink. We had to use different styles of shading. I drew a drum set, and I made scribbles to create the different shades and tones in my drawing. I really like this effect and I think the result is very interesting.
Click on the image for a full view please, the characters are quite detailed.. I put some close ups at the bottom too.
It's a scene from the Disney movie "The Great Mouse Detective", where Ratigan is escaping with Olivia Flaversham, with Basil, Dawson and Hiram Flaversham right behind him. I drew this with somewhat simple shapes in Adobe Illustrator. I really wanted to do a drawing for this movie, and thought of doing realistic mice characters, but settled on this style, just for the eyes alone.
The movie itself is great, really funny, and not a musical like other Disney animations..
